Eliza was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, in 1869. ^[1] Her birth was registered in the second quarter. She was the daughter of William Williams and Catherine (Unknown). She was enumerated in the 1871 census ^[2] residing with her parents and two siblings in Bolton, Lancashire. In 1881, ^[3] the family had moved to Windle (registration district Prescot), Lancashire. Sister Julia was not with family (died?) but two more siblings, Clara and Thomas appear with family. In 1891, ^[4] Eliza was living in Bolton, Lancashire with her parents and four younger siblings ages eighteen to nine years old. She stated her occupation as "Tobacco Spinner".

No definitive record for Eliza was found post 1891.
