Research notes

No obvious entry for Charles or Ann in the 1911 or 1921 census or the 1939 register.

No obvious death for Ann.

Not this Ann: Ann, daughter of John and Hannah Williams was baptised at All Saints, Moreton Pinkney, Northamptonshire, England on 27th December 1836[5].

In 1841 Ann was living with her parents John (an agricultural labourer aged 25-29) and Hannah (aged 25-29), and her siblings Elizabeth (6), Ann (4) and Jane (2) at Fuddlem Lane, Middleton Cheney, Banbury, Northamptonshire. All the family were born in Northamptonshire [6].

In 1851 Ann aged 14 was a lace maker, living in Upper Middleton Cheney with her sisters Elizabeth (16, a lace maker), Jane (11) and Eliza (9) and their mother Hannah (aged 40) and her new husband Joseph Neuman (44, an Agricultural labourer) and their daughter Hannah (4). Also in the household were the children of Joseph's previous marriages: John (16, an agricultural labouer), Mary Ann (14, a lace maker), and Joseph (11) [7].

The closest match to this informatio is the death of Ann Williams, aged 67, registered in Horsham in the September quarter of 1909 [8] - this would give a birth around 1842, so probably not the woman who was baptised in Moreton Pinkney in 1840.
