Birth

Thomas was born about 1835 to Richard Williams and Ann Unknown.

Marriage

Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Smith were married after banns at All Saints', Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire on November 7th 1854.^[1] Thomas was a 20 year old bachelor, living in Middleton Cheney and working as a labourer. He was the son of Richard Williams who was also a labourer. Elizabeth was a 21 year old spinster living in Wardington and the daughter of Thomas Smith who was a labourer. Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were William Rogers and Rachel Grant.^[2]
