Elizabeth Williams was born in Gloucestershire, England, in 1633. Her parents' names are not proven - it is likely her father was Richard Williams, born about January 28, 1606 in St Mary, Wotton Under Edge, Gloucestershire. Most of Elizabeth's family emigrated to Taunton, Massachusetts Bay Colony, ca. 1636. She may have been too ill at the time to make the voyage (she was 3 years old) or there was some other reason but it seems she remained in Gloucestershire, England, where she was raised.
In 1652, Elizabeth Williams married Giles Knight aka Gyles Knight, in Wheatenhurst Parish, Gloucestershire. He was a widower with 3 children. Gyles and Elizabeth (Williams) Knight had 5 children together:
Abel Knight
Giles Knight
Ann Knight
Joseph Knight
Thomas Knight
Gyles and Elizabeth (Williams) Knight lived in Rodborough and Horsley Parishes in Gloucestershire all of their life together. She died in about 1662, possibly in giving birth to their son, Thomas Knight (b. February 1, 1662) and he died in 1707 at 92 years old.

THere is a definite connection between the Williams family of Wotton and Wheatenhurst and the Knight family. Samuel Williams married an Alice Knight and I am just transcribing Abigal Knight's will of 1625 as I believe she is connected. I'm also transcribing a lot of Williams family wills so will keep my eyes open for a ref to Gyles.
I do not agree that the evidence presented by Chase Ashley (see comment below) definitely represents THIS Elizabeth Williams. (1) The birth year she gives was 1635, not 1633, which is when THIS Elizabeth Williams was born by other genealogies. (2) The 1635 birth & death were in Gloucester whereas the Elizabeth Williams of this profile was born in Wheatenhurst, not Gloucester city.
Williams is a common English surname. Richard and Elizabeth are common first names so duplicates are very likely.
While this information should be cited as a possiblity, it is not enough, in my humble opinion, to disconnect these parents.
Also, Chase Ashley should also have contacted the Profile Managers before taking such drastic action.
Disconnected parents. There is reliable evidence shows that Elizabeth, the daughter of Richard and Frances, died as an infant. See: "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JQ13-BZP : 11 February 2018, Elizabeth Williams, 15 Feb 1635); citing , index based upon data collected by the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City; FHL microfilm 855,634, 855,635.
According to his 2004 biography by Gale Ion Harris, F.A.S.G. and Norman W. Ingham, pub. TAG 79:44, Thomas Williams was born about 1630, and married about 1656, Elizabeth Williams could not be his daughter if she was born in 1633. He lived his life in Wethersfield, CT, and she was born and died in England.
Elizabeth Williams should be disconnected from Thomas Williams-4043, and his wife Rebecca, whose last name at birth was Waterhouse, see Waterhouse-60 and its sources.
