If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Harold Bonner

Barbara and I have been communicating for the past few weeks. She contacted me based on DNA test which revealed that we are related. We are hopeful that we will be able to find a link between our family via the WikiTree program activities.

Wikitree is different, because we have one goal: To have one big Global tree. This means we have one profile per person, and we collaborate as one big team.

When you confirm your email address, you will have the opportunity to volunteer by adding tags to your profile. These should contain what interests you in your genealogy: surnames, locations, etc.
