Thomas W. Williams is buried in the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksburg, VA.

Buried in Parker cemetery in Lizella Bibb County GA.

Enlisted and fought with the 14th GA. Co. A. Volunteers. July 1861-April 1865. Surrendered at Appomattox VA. with the Army of Northern Virginia C.S.A. His brother Thomas W. Williams also fought with the 14th GA. he died at the battle of Chancellorsville May 3rd, 1863. He also had 3 first cousins in the 14th GA. Co. A. John W., Reuben, George W. Williams. John W. surrendered at Appomattox. Reuben lost his left leg from a wound received at Spotsylvania Court House in May 1864. George W. was killed at the breakout at Petersburg VA. April 3, 1865. All were from Monroe County GA. The three cousins were the sons of Jethro Williams. A.J. AND Thomas W. were the sons of Reuben H. Williams of Monroe Co. GA.
