Charles Augustus Williams was probably born about 1796, based on his age of 40 at death.
It is unknown how he came to Australia, however an article in the Sydney Morning Herald referred to him as an 'assigned servant' which would suggest that he was a convict.[1]
Charles married Elizabeth Ross at St. Phillip's Anglican Church, Sydney, on 11 April 1836.[2][3] He died seven months later in a workplace accident.
