Biography
William Shelton was born in 1832. He was the son of Nelson Williams and Rebecca Dellinger. When the Civil War broke out William and his brother David joined the Georgia militia. In 1863 shortly after hearing about David being killed, William deserted from the army and was never heard from again. He just simply disappeared !
