Biography

Levi was born 19 October 1781, in Northumberland County, whence he came with the family of his father, Benjamin Williams, to Clinton township in 1803, and from there, in 1812, he moved to the extreme southwestern part of Scrubgrass. He owned one hundred and nine acres of land, and built the stone house there in 1836. His death occurred in 1867. [1]
