Richard died on May 27, 1933, at Grace Hospital, in Toronto, Ontario, from acute coronary thrombosis, and arteriosclerosis. He was born in Ontario on March 18, 1870 to John Williams, born in Wales, and Anne Bennett, born in Ireland. He was employed as an electrician for the CNR (Canadian National Railway). The informant on his death record was his wife, Mrs. Emma Williams, of 24 Frater Avenue, (East York) Toronto. Richard was buried at St. John's Norway Cemetery.
