Thomas Craven Williams was the the son of Elihu Williams and Lucinda Owens. He married Mary Caroline Ramsey on 3 Mar 1849 in Walker Co., Georgia. They had nine children; Mary A. Williams-Johnston, James Robert Williams, Laura C. Williams-Cox, Cicero Franklin Williams, Thomas B. Williams, John Rufus Williams, William R. Williams, Margaret Elizabeth Williams-Stanfield, and Drury Melvin Williams.
