Biography

Matilda Williams was born about 1820 in Breckonshire, Wales.

In the England and Wales Census of 1851 she is age 31, living in Merthyr Tydfill with her husband John (age 39), a Miner, daughter Harriet (age 6), and daughter Margaret (age 2).

In the England and Wales Census of 1861 she is age 43, living in Merthyr Tydfill with her husband John (age 50), an Iron Miner, daughter Mary (age 18), daughter Margaret (age 12), and daughter Maria (age 7).
