Edward Williams was christened in Ashford, Kent on 19 March 1860[1]. He was the son of William Williams and his wife Matilda.
At the time of the 1871 England and Wales Census, William, Matilda, Harriett, Henry, Thomas, Mary Ann, Edward, George, and Jane Williams were listed as living in Ashford, Kent[2].
