Mary Williams was the daughter of John and Ann Williams

  2. Gershom, born 1653[7], who was killed March 26, 1676[1]
  3. Mary, born 1656, who married John Booth December 12, 1687[1]
  4. Margaret, born 1656[7], who married Nathaniel Tilden in 1693[1]
  5. Jonathan, born 1659[7], who married Abigail Garnett, and who died in 1695[1]
  6. Patience, who married John Pierce of Scituate December 12, 1683[1]
  7. Bethia, who married Rodolphus Elmes Feb 20, 1695[1]
  8. Eunice, who married Simon Dellis (a member of the French Protestant Church in Boston), Jan 1, 1717[1]

On 8 July 1682, his widow Mary Dodson and his heirs, Jonathan Dodson, Thomas Studson and Sarah his wife, Margaret Dodson signed an agreement to distribute his estate. The four younger daughters, Patience, Mary, Bethya and Eunice are mentioned at the end. Anthony's inventory is recorded after this agreement, but not dated. At the end of the inventory, it is mentioned that the land that Anthony lived on was given to Mary by her father John Williams, decd.[8] Mary's death date is not known. This profile shows she died sometime after the birth of her youngest child.

Mary was born about 1627-29, in England or in Scituate, Massachusetts. She passed away in 1695.

"Mary, the mother of Sarah (Dodson) Stetson, was a sister of Capt John Williams, who commanded the right wing of the ambuscade at the time when King Philip fell" (Stetson Kindred of America)

Her will is dated 27 December 1695 in Scituate and proved on 13 February 1695/96. She mentions her children, Jonathan Dodson, Sarah Stetson, Margaret Tilden, Patience Pierce, Mary Booth, Bethyah, and Eunice, and her son-in-law John Pierce. Her inventory was taken on 14 January 1695/96.[9]
