Arthur Robert Maxwell "Bob" Williamson passed away on 5 September 1997 in New South Wales. He was survived by his second wife Dwill and the three children from his first marriage, who are still living.
"Bob" Williamson took over the running of his father's property "Coolaminyah" near Ivanhoe, NSW. As an ancestral home, it was frequently visited by the extended Williamson family, who were always made to feel welcome.
Miss Eleanor Ruth Bowmaker, youngest daughter of Mr. A. K. Bowmaker, and of the late Mrs. Bowmaker, of Mosman, was married to Mr. Robert Maxwell Williamson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Williamson, of Coolaminyah, Ivanhoe, at Wesley Chapel, Sydney, on Saturday evening. The Rev. R. J. Williams officiated.
The bride wore a frock of parchment satin with a cowl neckline, and her cut tulle veil was held at the back of the head with orange blossom. Her bouquet was of cream tiger lilies, and tuberoses. Two miniature posies wore mounted on the train. The bridesmaids were Misses Jean Bowmaker and Peggy Williamson. They wore frocks of lilac chiffon, and lilac tulle veils held with lilac flowers. Their bouquets were of gladioli and fuchsia. Mr. Alan Martin was best man, and Mr. Charles Williamson groomsman. A reception was held at the Pickwick Club, where Mrs. F. J. Halmarick received the guests.
