Labourers, Robert Williamson (12) and William Williamson (8) and daughter Mary A Williamson (18) Domestic Servant from Killinkere, County Caven, Ireland, all Presbyterian, arrived in Port Phillip Bay, Australia on board the vessel Harry Lorrequer on 14 March 1851. 'Mr' Thomas' Williamson' died" at his. residence," "Broomhougb," or what is known as the River Farm, at Maidstone, on Tuesday, last. Death came very suddenly', heart' failure supervening quickly on an 'attack of" paralysis. Only the previous' day the deceased, gentleman had walked' into Footscray and home again, And his sudden end proved a great shock to his-family. -:The deceased came to this locality; several years ; ago from .Yea, where he was widely known and enjoyed the respect of everyone, as he was one of nature's gentlemen. He had just' completed. the.- purchase of a large block of land in Queensland, where he and his family intended to carry on extensive farming operations. Deceased was .70'years of age and leaves a large family to mourn their loss. The funeral took 'place yesterday, the place of interment being the Footscray Cemetery. . The burial service" was read by the Rev A. W. Butlerand the mortuary arrangements werecarried out by. Mr Herbert King.
