Biography
Cuthbert was born in 1791, in Charlotte County, Virginia. He was the son of Cuthbert Williamson II and Susannah White
On 3 Oct 1825, in Charlotte, he married Obedience Green Bailey. They settled in Charlotte and had the following children.
- Charles Andrew Williamson b. 1827 VA - d. 1920 TX, m. Eliza Ann Lane
- Mary Ann Mildred Williamson b. 1828 VA - d. 1917 MO, m. Samuel Williamson Jeffries
- Susan Frances Williamson b. 1830 VA - d. 1910 OK, m. Joseph Eldridge Bennight
- John C Williamson b. 1834 - d. aft. 1860 census
- Obedience Williamson b. 1836 - d. aft. 1850 census
- Samuel Daniel Williamson b. 1837 VA - d. 1931 TX, m. Melissa Ellen Cunningham
- Peter Williamson b. 1841 - d. aft. 1860 census
- Sallie Marie Williamson b. Aug 1844 - d. Feb 1845, age 6 months
Obedience died in childbirth with daughter Sallie. He then moved, along with his children, to Howard, Missouri Territory and ultimately to Franklin, Missouri, where he continued working as a farmer. It was here he passed away in 1872. It is unknown where he is buried.
