Biography

Porter Williamson was born 12 February 1891 in Emanuel County, Georgia, the daughter of Solomon R. Williamson and Mary Ann Moseley Williamson^[1].

He served as a private for the US Army in World War I^[2]>.

In 1920, he lived in Toombs County, Georgia with his parents and siblings^[3].

His brother Bill named him next of kin on his World War II draft registration.

In 1940^[4], he lived in Emanuel County, Georgia with his mother Molly (Mary) and his brother Marvin.

He died August 23, 1978^[5] and was buried in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia^[1].
