DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

Some have suggested that James Williamson is buried in Greenville, PA. My cousin, Paul W. Myers has furnished a photo of Williamson's tombstone on FINDAGRAVE. See: FINDAGRAVE 42566434 - James Williamson (1754-1818) and FINDAGRAVE 46853750 Jane McEwen Williamson. I suspect you may find that they resided in Lackawannock Township. Mercer County if you elect look into it. Best wishes.
