George Williamson, of Middleborough, died intestate and on 25 April 1764, his widow Deborah was granted the administration of his estate.[1]
His inventory was taken on 1 June 1764 in Middleborough.[2]
In 1765, an account of his estate by Deborah Williamson was recorded which included funeral charges, debts paid, necessaries to the widow, and administration fees.[3]
In 1765, the court found that his real estate could not be divided without great prejudice, so his brother Caleb consented to have the estate settled upon him, and he agree to pay the heirs their share, viz., the mother, Mary Williamson, the widow, Deborah Williamson, and his siblings, Thankful Atwood, Bulah Pratt, Mary Barney, and Deborah West.[4]
