Biography

Cynthia Williamson (1820-1895) was the daughter of Jackson Williamson (abt.1802-??) and Ella Ginkins/Jenkins (abt.1807-??), and who married Jacob Green II (1823-1864). She was born about 1830 in, probably Ohio. Profile on FamilySearch.org has birth date of 21 June 1830 and place at Johnstown, Licking, Ohio, with no proving source. She had at least one sibling; Joseph Aaron/Annin Carney/Kearney Williamson (abt.1832-abt.1875).

Cynthia was married to Jacob Green (II) on 5 November 1847, probably in Ohio. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Green (not the son of Regnal) and Mary Polly Willison (1797–??), who were married on 26 October 1820, probably in Ohio.

They had seven unproven children;

Her husband, Jacob Green, died in Thomson, Carroll county, Illinois on 16 March 1864.

Residence in 1870 was in York township, Carroll county, Illinois.[3] Cynthia 39 was keeping house with little Martha 8 helping her. Her three sons; Jacob 18, Stimson 15 and Joseph 12 were probably doing all the work on the farm, valued at $1200, with personal property of $800. Her sister-in-law, Diana Green 49 was in a similar situation next door.
