Leslie John Williamson was born on 10 May 1895 in Richmond, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia as the son of Jeremiah Williamson and Alice Read.
He was a Chemist when he enrolled in the New Zealand Army on 13 April 1917[1] in the New Zealand Medical Corps.
He married Gladys Williams on 2 November 1921 in New Zealand[2].
He died on 13 January 1941 in Timaru, New Zealand[3].
His will was probated in Timaru[4].
He was buried in Timaru Cemetery[5].
