Polly was born on 10 Jun 1822 in Anderson County, South Carolina. Her father was John Williford[1] and her mother may have been Sarah King. On 22 Dec 1840, she married Archibald Brown Skelton.[2] They made their home in the Rock Mills community and had nine children: six sons and three daughters:[3][4]
