Biography
Polly was born on 10 Jun 1822 in Anderson County, South Carolina. Her father was John Williford[1] and her mother may have been Sarah King. On 22 Dec 1840, she married Archibald Brown Skelton.[2] They made their home in the Rock Mills community and had nine children: six sons and three daughters:[3][4]

- Samuel Augustus (1846-1926)
- David Addison (1850-1915)
- Martha Love "Mattie" (1851-1938)
- Sarah "Sallie" E. (1853-1910)
- Mary Talula (1857-1899)

- Charles Sephus "Charlie" (1864-1944)
Polly died on 22 Jan 1907 and is buried at Roberts Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina. [5]
