He was unmarried when he died on 18 Jan 1891 in County Cavan, Ireland. ^[3]

Probate 16th April 1891 - Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Henry Willis, late of Main Street, Cavan, Merchant who died 18th January 1891 in same place were granted at Cavan to Thomas Willis of Corratober in said county, farmer, the brother. ^[4]
