It would appear from DAR records that you have two men by the same name mixed on this profile. Please see https://services.dar.org/public/dar_research/search_adb/?action=full&p_id=A127020 for the husband of Drusilla. He was not born in Virginia.

I am a direct descendant of Richard Willis- A127020 with approved papers at NSDAR. There is indirect evidence that he was born in Mecklenburg, VA. However the original DAR applicant stated SC I assume because of his service there.
