Rosalie Carter Willis[1] was born in 1844 in Orange, Virginia, the child of Richard Willis and Lucy Nalle. She married Randolph Benton
Willis[2][3] of Graysport, Mississippi in 1870[4] in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. They had five children during their marriage. She died on June 18, 1917, in Gore Springs, Mississippi, at the age of 73, and was buried there.[5]
