Biography

Lilian (Willis) Elson was born in Northamptonshire, England.

Lilian (Willis) Elson migrated from England to Canada.

Arabella, or Lilian, was born in 1872^[1] in Finedon, Northamptonshire, England. She was the daughter of John Willis and Harriet Fuller. At the time of the 1881 census the family lived at 22 Mill Lane, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.^[2] In 1891 they lived on South East Street, Finedon.^[3]

Lilian married Arthur Elson in 1892 in Northampton, Northamptonshire.^[4][5] In 1901 the family lived on Obelisk Road, Finedon; Arthur was a boot manufacturer.^[6]

In 1904 the family emigrated to Canada. By 1911 they were living in the municipality of Wilton, district of Battleford, Saskatchewan. Arthur was a farmer.^[7][8][9]

Arabella died in 1956 in Saskatchewan.^[10]
