Elizabeth was born in 1635. She passed away in 1672.

Elizabeth Willoughby, widow of Overzee, now married to Alderton(sp?) from The Capital and the Bay: Narratives of Washington and the Chesapeake Bay Region, ca. 1600-1925[1]

See the wikipedia article of Isaac Allerton, Sr.[2] - it cites "Robert S. Wakefield, F.A.S.G. and Margaret Harris Stover, CG., Mayflower Families through Five Generations: Descendants of the Pilgrims who landed at Plymouth, Mass. December 1620, Vol. 17: Family of Isaac Allerton p. 1, 1998" as Source 41 for the marriage of Isaac Allerton, Jr. and Willoughby.

And then "Merrick, Barbara Lambert. William Brewster of the Mayflower and His Descendants for Four Generations, Revised 3rd Edition, Barbara Lambert Merrick, compiler. General Society of Mayflower Descendants, 2000," is used as citation notes #24-26 on issue from a marriage for the article for Isaac Allerton, Jr. [3]

Willoughby-3779 and Willoughby-152 appear to represent the same person because: Obviously intended to be the same person. Death date is off for Willoughby-3779, but likely transferred from a sources incorrect data.

I need to add Elizabeth to my branch as Mary Rose Allerton's Mother. I have much documentation that Mary was in fact their child. Mary is my 7 times great grandmother and Elizabeth is my 8 times GG so I would really like to add them to the branch. It is not allowing me to do so because the profile is PPP. Any suggestions on how I can do this?

Thanks Barb

You are talking about https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-137649? The best thing you can do is to update the profile with the sources you have....as you can see, the latest information indicated that she was not one of their children.

Willoughby-2625 and Willoughby-152 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year, same spouse (dups pending merge), daughter Sarah on both profiles, with same spouse (both are dups). Please merge.

I believe Elizabeth Willoughby was Isaac's 1st wife, Elizabeth Thorogood the 2nd. See sources at Thorogood 148.

Isaac's 2nd marriage was 30____1664, but Tho. Willoughby was calling Isaac "Our loving brother" in 1663.

Simon Overzee's mother-in-law is Mrs Sarah (Offley)Thorogood Gookin Yardley, Elizabeth Thorogood's mother.(This was AFTER Elizabeth married her sister Sarah's widower).

Sarah Yardley is referred to as mother-in-law to both Simon Overzee and Job Chandler.

While Elizabeth is married to Simon Overzee, he is referred to as brother-in-law in the will of Job Chandler, who is married to Elizabeth's sister, Anne.

I believe some of the older cited sources have the two wives' marriages in the wrong order. I think Elizabeth Willoughby died a short time after son Willoughby's birth.
