Roy Willoughby was born in Ireland.
John - known as Roy - was born in 1922. He was the son of George Willoughby and Mina Rothwell.
Roy married Marina Elizabeth Taylor and they had four children.
He passed away in 1977, aged about 54. The funeral service was held at Kilpipe Church and he was buried in the adjoining cemetery.
