Biography
Howard Victor Willoughby was born about 16 Sep 1917 in Oklahoma. He is the son of John W Willoughby Minnie Kimbro[1]
- In 1920 Howard Willoughby was living in Midland Township, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, United States with his family on a rented farm. He was 2 10/12 born in Oklahoma. His father John W Willoughby was 40 born in Kentucky, working as a farmer and can read and write. His mother Minnie was 29 born in Kansas and cannot read or write. The others in the home were siblings: Mattie 12, Calvin 8.[2]
Howard and his siblings were enrolled in school in Chism, McClain County, Oklahoma in 1925.[3]

His father John W Willoughby was 50 born in Kentucky, working as a farmer and can read but not write. His mother Minnie was 40 born in Kansas and cannot read or write. The others in the home were siblings: Calvin 18, Virgil 10, Artis M 5.[4]
Howard Willoughby married Irene Short 6 Oct 1938 in McClain County, Oklahoma, United States.[5]They were divorced by 4 Nov 1941 when he enlisted in the army.

Howard Willoughby married Ruth Pierce 5 Nov 1942 in McClain County, Oklahoma, United States.[7]
- In 1950 Howard V Willoughby was living in Hopping Township, McClain County, Oklahoma with his family in a rented home. He was 31 born in Oklahoma and working as a farm laborer. His wife Ruth was 26 born in Oklahoma. Their son Joe V was 1.[8]
He died 8 Feb 1990 in Galvin County, Oklahoma, United States.[1]
He is buried in Byars Cemetery, Byars, McClain County, Oklahoma, United States.[1]
