Son of Thomas Willoughby "of the Southern Branch" In 1711 John was underage re his father's will, he was left the Manor Plantation. And the remainder of a tract of land "in Broad Marsh running from a place called Turtle Gutt. . John's brother Thomas Willoughby received the other part. This is the same property that their father Thomas inherited in 1691 Richard Herbert, the same land in the 1682 division which was given to THOMAS WILLOUGHBY and RICHARD HERBERT[1]
