My name is Jeanne Bogert. My husband's mother was a descendent of Andrew Tait of Dumfries Scotland. The genealogies match from Andrew to James Tait who was also born in Dumfries and married Jane Watson of Liverpool, England. Their son William Watson Tait married Jane Danson and had at least 10 children. My husband is related to Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait, the painter, and last of William and Jane Tait's children.
I have done some research and could add more information to your pages if that's all right with you.
