Jessie moved to Canada and apparently married there. Her husband's name was Harry Crossley and he was around 11 years younger than Jessie.[3][7] She was known among her neices and nephews in England as "Auntie Jessie Canada"[8], presumably to distinguish her from their other Aunt Jessie.
On 12 Dececember 1984, Karl Patrick wrote, " [Jessie] will be 91 on January 14, 1985."[3]
