Biography

Jessie was born on 14 January 1894, Kings Heath, Birmingham^[1][2][3]

At the time of the 1901 Census, Jessie, aged 7 years, was at home at Livingstone Road, Kings Norton with her parents and 7 siblings.^[4]

She was still with her family at Kings Norton in 1911.^[5]

On 1 June 1921, aged 27, Jessie was at Evelyn Crescent, West Toronto, Canada with her older sister, Helen "Nellie" (Wilson) Patrick (1884-), and her family.^[6]

Jessie moved to Canada and apparently married there. Her husband's name was Harry Crossley and he was around 11 years younger than Jessie.^[3][7] She was known among her neices and nephews in England as "Auntie Jessie Canada"^[8], presumably to distinguish her from their other Aunt Jessie.

On 12 Dececember 1984, Karl Patrick wrote, " [Jessie] will be 91 on January 14, 1985."^[3]

I have searched FamilySearch and FindMyPast but having no access to Canada achives have been unable to find marriage or death sources. Can you help? Do you have any information about Jessie's life?
