Hello, Elaine!

Hi Elaine,

Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. Thank you for all your work on English Profiles and in particular your work in Lancashire, Yorkshire and Managed Profiles Teams.

These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know if you are happy with your current role and team choice, or if you wish to do something additional or different. Thank you again on behalf of all the Project Leaders for everything you do.

Appreciate your mail but happy to continue as I am at the moment thank you

Hi Elaine

I am just checking in with you as a member of the Lancashire Team. We are entering the last 8 days of the England regional go Green Challenge reducing the suggestions, unsourced and unconnected numbers. On the 13th the Northern Region were in the lead for the challenge with drop of 16,728!

As your regional cheer leader - I am encouraging everyone to go go go

Good luck Janet :)

you're incredible. the line(s) you added to my tree take my lineage back further than i ever hoped to get . I'm so glad i added you as trusted. How did you manage to reliably trace back as far as you did with the Buffington line? until you i believe my Casteel line was the furthest back I had at any of my trees on the net. Thank you so very much for the add. sorry for the delayed thank you.........been dealing with personal matters as of late.

I got lucky when I saw your name as I had the photo and was waiting for the right person. My aunt used to work in a Museum and I inherited her tree with a lot of names and photos etc and my son works in the States. There was a tie up with my extended tree so nice to find we both have made some progress. I have been looking at that line for 30 years myself

Hi Elaine,

I love the work you did on Sarah Flower's profile. What an interesting individual she was and what an interesting up-bringing she had.

Hi Elaine

Just a note to say your profile is showing in the suggestion list due to use of Mrs as both a prefix and a suffix, it should only be in the prefix field. Appreciate it if you could delete from the Suffix field

Here is the ink to your suggestion list generated from your profile

Appreciate any assistance you can give in clearing this list

Many Thanks Janet

Hello Elaine,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Elaine!

May I suggest amending your tags so you have one tag for each name you are researching and the location?

If you create separate tags for your surnames, the tags become clickable links to pages of others who want to collaborate about that surname. With the surnames combined in a tag, that isn't possible. This link may help you Tags FAQ

Your Wiki Genealogy Feed will show the activity connected to the surnames and places relating to your tags.

I am interested in Family History. I am novice. I am happy to share what I have and hope to find more from friends and family I meet on this Wiki site. My mother's people come from Denmark and Iceland. My father's from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
