Biography
Dr. Goodridge Alexander Wilson is buried in the Venable Family Cemetery in Hampton Sydney Prince Edward County, Virginia. He was a physician and was educated at the University of Pennsylvania and at Oxford, England. He practiced medicine for 35 years at Millwood Plantation in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Then he moved to Johnson Shoals. He was a trustee of Hamden Sydney College.
He had nine children, five of which moved to Missouri in 1846 and raised families there.
