Jacob is the first white settler in Bath Township, Greene County, Ohio. It is believed that Jacob Wilson and his wife Mary were originally buried in an older cemetery and moved to Fairfield.

Wilson-24186 and Wilson-44112 appear to represent the same person because: Originally Jacob Wilson Sr. had some incorrect dates. I corrected them, the dates looked to have actually been more likely for the birth and death of his father. Mary Fritz was married to Jacob Wilson. When I began to make a profile for Mary Fritz there was a duplicate. I had already made a profile for her husband but no duplicate emerged because of the incorrect dates. After I clicked on Mary Fritz' profile I saw there were then two Jacob Wilson's attached. They must be the same Jacob Wilson so I have attempted to merge them.
