William Wilson Head of Household in the 1830 Macon County, United States Census: [[4]]
William Wilson died 1836 without leaving a will. In March 1837 his widow Catherine "Kate" (Thompson) Wilson made application for administratorship of his estate. This was approved and a notice to sell at public outcry (auction) his goods and chatels was posted under notice on March 29, 1837. There are 15 images available to download for free, these give the names of who bought at auction and many where his children. One was Thompson Wilson who married Mary Hooper. The Cashiers Historical Society has published an article on William Wilson's Estate record
