Biography
Louisa Willson married John Power 11 April 1838 in Bath County, Kentucky. Uriah Willson gave consent for his daughter to marry. Witness: John McDonald and Joshua S. Power.[1]
Louisa Power was age 42, born KY in the 1860 census of Bath County, Kentucky. [2]
US Census 1880, Bath County, Kentucky, Louisa Powers was age 62, wife, living in the household of John POWERS, age 69 [3]
Obituary, Owingsville, Kentucky, 1 April 1897. Mrs. Louisa Powers died Sunday at her home near old Pittsburgh. Funeral from the home Monday by Elder B.F. Parker. Burial in the family burial ground near the home. She was 78 years old lacking by only a few days. Member of the Christian Church at White Oak for 40 years. Left seven children: W.W. of Owingsville, J.H. and W.B. of near the old home, Mrs. George A. Deatly, Mrs. Kate A. Gillon and Mrs. James H. Wilson and Mrs. R.T. Colliver, all living at or near the old home. Odessa. [4]
