Biography

Russel's birth in Markdale Ontario was registered quite late, on July 12 1940 when he was 31, by his mother who was residing in Westminster, British Columbia at the time.

When he was 2 years old in 1911 he was recorded in the census living at 527 Barnard, Vancouver with his father John aged 30, his mother Mary aged 26, his younger sister named Margaret E aged 6 months, and his uncle Robert Boyd aged 24 and W J McClain aged 19

When he was 12 years old he was recorded in the 1921 census in New Westminster, British Columbia with his parents John, aged 43, his mother Mary aged 36 and his younger sister Margaret Elizabeth aged 10.

At age 21 he made a trip on Apr 20, 1930 through Washington from Ladner, British Columbia on his way to Davidson, Saskatchewan. He listed his occupation as auto mechanic. He listed his next of kin as John B. (father) in Ladner BC.

Unknown if he married or had children.

He died aged 98 in Victoria BC in 2007.
