N.B. I an now thinking (too late!) that these two Samuel Wilsons (Samuel Wilson (Wilson-53699) and Samuel Wilson (Wilson-29751)) should not have been merged! (26 Aug 2018).
Samuel Wilson was born in 1790 in Montgomery County, Maryland, the only known child of John Wilson and Elizabeth Unknown.
He married Catherine Hendricks. It has been said that he married in February 1782 at Bryan's Station, Fayette Co., KY although he may not have yet been born at that date! And his first child was not born until 1816!
His wife bore him ten known children, seven sons and three daughters:

Named as executor of his father's will in March 1832; this will names Henry Wilson, son of Samuel Wilson. Will Book N, p 538, March Ct 1851.
