Norman Wilson

Piedmont

Claude Norman Wilson, 71, husband of Linda Adams Wilson, died February 19, 2014.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late B.L. Wilson, Jr. and Sarah Spearman Wilson Camp. Mr. Wilson retired from the U.S. Navy, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Williamston, and served as the AWANA State Event Coordinator for 29 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Joey A. Quinn (Stacey) of Piedmont, Andrew "Andy" Wilson of Pelzer, Claude "Chip" Norman Wilson, Jr. (Tammy) of Dacusville and Brian A. Wilson; brother, George Edwin Wilson (Sue) of Brevard, N.C.; and grandchildren, Katie Quinn, Jessica Boiter (Todd), Andrew Wilson and Chip Wilson.

The funeral will be Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Graceland West Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation is Friday night from 5:00 until 8:00 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
