Amy Mary Wilson (married name Allaway) was born on 20 January 1879 in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Jessie (Screen) Wilson and Thomas Edmund Wilson.^[1][2]

She was christened on 6 July 1881 in Prahran, Victoria.^[1]

She married Francis John Allaway in 1902 in Victoria.^{[citation needed]} Their children were:

• Francis Thomas William Allaway (1903–1986)^[3]
• Arthur Godfrey Allaway (1907–1994)^[4]
• George Albert Allaway (1910–1983)^{[citation needed]}
