Genealogical Interests
Communication Preferences: I am interested in communicating with cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy.
Here is my family tree.
I’m looking for anything about my grandfather George Dewey Craig. He was adopted and the only thing we are sure of is his death date. Also trying to attach my great grandmother Kate Klaver to her family. She died after giving birth to my grandmother. She was buried around Wills, Illinois.
Family Tree of v. Wilson
Biography
I became a “typesetter” out of high school, now we are known as graphic artists.
I retired in 2011. Now I garden, well, sometimes I garden and sometimes I ‘manage’ about 3 acres of trees. There are more than 3 acres, almost 12, but I pretty much let them be, no matter what. I understand I am just a spectator most of the time and cleanup crew for the ‘managed’ 3 acres all the time.
Some people believe a forest is just ‘there’, but it is a living thing that constantly changes. Maybe that’s why looking for past relatives intrigues me. It’s totally static - set in stone as they say.

Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
If you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources; find or merge duplicates; clean up GEDCOM or merged biographies; or interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
