Mary was baptised in South Cave, Yorkshire, England, in 1846. She was the daughter of Hannah Wilson[1] and William Donkin.[2] At the time of the 1851 census Mary lived with the Donkin family in South Cave.[3]
In 1863 Mary married William Neale in South Cave.[2][4] The family lived there in 1871, when William worked as an agricultural labourer.[5] They had moved to North Cave by 1881.[6][7][8]
William died in 1918 at the age of 79.[9] Mary died in 1932 at the age of 87.[10]
