Biography
Margaret was born about 1818 in Ireland. She emigrated to Canada and married John Bengough in 1845.[1]
in the 1851 Census of Canada West (Ontario) she lived in Whitby with John, a carpenter, and two sons and a daughter.[2]
In the 1871 Census of Canada, the Bengoughs are recorded as having the following children: George, John, Thomas, James, Mary and William.[3]
Margaret died in 1900[4] and was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.[5]
