DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Sharon or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sharon:
I am very sorry to announce that my adopted cousin Sharon Kay (Wilson) Godrey has passed away on Sept. 17th, 2021. Her birth parents were Clarence Raymond Kurtz and Elizabeth Alice Hagebock. After the death of her father Sharon and her sister were adopted by my cousins Donald Raymond Wilson and Nedra Louise Craig. The correct spelling for Sharon Kay Godrey is Godfrey. I noticed errors in the reporting of Sharon's DNA and if her wikitree could be unlocked I could try to help straighten it out. To the best of our families knowledge she does not share DNA with our Wilson's. Her DNA should be attached to her biological siblings and children.
