Don Wilson is Notable.
Don Wilson was the last surviving founder and guitarist of The Ventures.
Their hit electric guitar instrumental songs include, Walk, Don't Run, 'Hawaii Five-0, Telstar, and Pipeline, to name a few. The group was awarded six platinum albums and three gold singles in addition to a number of national and international awards.
He and Bob Bogle met on a construction job and founded The Ventures in 1959 in Tacoma, Washington. Soon, they found Nokie Edwards and drummer Skip Moore.
The Ventures were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.[1]
