Jennet (Wilson) Low (1861 - 1937)

Biography

Jennet was born in 1861^[1] in Kendal, Westmorland, England. Jennet's father had died before 1871, when Jennet lived in Kendal with her mother, Mary.^[2]

Jennet married John William Patrick in 1881.^[3] The newlyweds lived with John's uncle Stephen in Kettering at the time of the census later that year.^[4] By 1891 John's family had moved to Kendal, Westmorland (where Jennet was born), and John was an innkeeper.^[5]

John died in 1893 at the age of 38.^[6] Later that year Jennet married Andrew Morton Low.^[7] By 1901 the family lived in South Shields, County Durham, where Andrew worked as a spirit merchant's manager.^[8][9]

Andrew died in 1928.^[10] Jennet died in 1937 at the age of 76.^[11]
