Hi!

How's everything going? You might be finding duplicate profiles now. We have a Help Page to help you learn what to do with them. Be sure to check for your pending merges by going to FIND, PENDING MERGES, and sort for those waiting on you. Upon completing a merge, be sure to clean up/edit the Biography as ALL information from both profiles are copied and remove any duplicate info.

If you want updates on surnames you can add them by going to MY WIKITREE, NAV HOME PAGE, scroll down to just below WIKI GENEALOGY FEED to EDIT FOLLOWED SURNAMES. You can add up to 20.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those situations.

I have been a genealogist for over 40 years. Wrote my own software back in the floppy disk days. I have and always believe that genealogy research should be and remain free. It should never be sold to commercial companies. I maintain and am web master for the local genealogical society. http://www.wvhcgs.com I do all my own HTML coding. In my Gedcom files my sources are listed as remarks in a note attached to that individual.
