Audrey Maxina Gladys Winch was born on 20th November 1921 in the district of Nairne, South Australia, Australia. Her parents were James Bates Winch and Charlotte Ethel Burton. ^[1]

Audrey Maxina Gladys Winch married Victor Mervyn Way on 3rd April 1948 in the Methodist Church at Malvern, South Australia, Australia. Their marriage was announced in "The Advertiser" on Saturday 3rd April 1948.

• Winch Way. The marriage of Audrey, youngest daughter of Mrs. C. E. Winch and the late Mr. Winch, of Fullarton, to Victor, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Way, of Bridgewater, will be solemnised at Malvern Methodist Church, tonight (April 3), at 7.15. ^[2]
